MONA

1.  As we left Hobart ferry terminal for MONA, we saw this yacht belonging to Louis Bennetton - they didn't seem to be giving any jumpers away!
2.  MONA - building clad in rusty metal and a lot of steps to climb to the entrance.
3.  I loved the mirrored entrance to MONA so much  I took a picture of myself.
4. looking down the 98 steps to the ferry jetty showing strategically placed chairs for anyone who was out of breath!
If you are wondering about MONA, its a brand new Museum of Old and New Art, built by David Walsh who made his millions from gambling - who says it doesn't pay. Take a look at
http://www.mona.net.au/ it's a fascinating place built partly underground in an old quarry. (Sorry I am not allowed to publish any photos of the art inside.)
