MORE FOOD AND SHOPS ish

1.  No, not a lost purse, but a piece of art called 'Public Purse' on Bourke Street among the shops (actually a marble seat).

2. The escalators from the top of the new Myers department store only recently opened.
3. One of the old shopping arcades - this one is Royal Arcade.
4. The luscious looking window of the Hopetoun Tea Shop in  the Block Arcade.  I didn't go in, but might be tempted another day - as a treat you understand!

MORE OF MONDAY'S WANDERINGS

1.  Promise this is the last piece of graffiti for now. There would be more but the Banksy stuff on one of the Lanes has been cleaned off leaving a blank wall, after I walked quite a way to find it!.
2. On my way to the Eureka Tower - note the 24 carat gold windows at the top of the building -  can't imagine anyone climbing up to scrape it off!
3. The Yarra river looking  very full and brown after the recent heavy rains.
4.  The view down the lift shaft at Eureka.  Sorry can't lie, it's a picture of the lift floor!

PUB,TOP & GRAFFITI

1. This morning I went to the Eureka Tower to the 88th floor viewing area.  For those more brave than me there is 'The Edge', glass cube which hydraulically moved out of the building for about 4 metres. While it is moving in or out the windows are opaque, so the look on anyone's face when they suddenly clear is quite entertaining!
2. I took this pic of Elizabeth Street terminus and Flinders Station from there.
3. We usually go to Wetherspoons on Sundays, so  James Squire had to do as a substitute.
4.  Some more of the graffiti in the Lanes.

1.  A De Lorean Back to the Future version in  the gay parade.
2. This young man being escorted from the roof of the tram shelter after he had been making a protest about the parade.  Everyone was cheering on the cops and firemen with the ladder.
3. St Kilda beach on a breezy afternoon, with the lighthouse and a kite.
4.  More Chinese drums on trolleys.
